It's a fine balance

There's a lot of talk about balance in our lives and it's normally about work, family and personal time but seeing something with beautiful symmetry and balance in it's design always makes me feel good.  

Who else has an obsession with symmetry?  I am a huge Wes Anderson fan because his visual artistry and style plays to this.  When visiting Palm Springs, I saw this beautiful yet simple home and was taken with the balance of the design.  One of my dreams is to go to the Palm Springs Modernism week where there are open homes for you to explore the design and styling of these mid-century modern homes http://www.modernismweek.com/
